As an immigrant teenager, I started watching football to fit into American culture. Soon I found myself immersed in football Xs and Os, learning concepts from old NFL playbooks, reading books by Steve Belichick and Bill Walsh, studying techniques on coaches film, and volunteering on the varsity football coaching staff at my local high school.
At the same time, I published a blog, leading to high school coaches across the country reaching out for Xs and Os advice, and shared my findings on X (formerly known as Twitter), resulting in media outlets offering freelance contracts to become a weekly columnist.
Then at 18 years old, I accepted offers from theScore to publish a column twice a week, weekly columns at Bleacher Report and NBC’s Rotoworld, and a guest column on Fridays at Boston.com. Below are samples of my published works.
