This page is home to my musings in various written forms, including essays, sportswriting, and storytelling analyses published on The Periplous.
My primary writing form is the essay. Inspired by Michel de Montaigne, François-René de Chateaubriand, and E.B. White, the essays consist of ~500 words that focus on a single idea, topic, or observation.
The essays include a collection called Memoirs Beyond the Womb, which focuses on my experience as a first-time dad and watching my daughter experience everything for the first time.
